University of Balochistan is a public sector University established in 1970. The University of Balochistan seeks the services of competent and dynamic candidates possessing the Requirements/Qualifications against Non-Teaching Vacant Positions.

Treasurer
Upper Age limit: 55 Years
Nature of Appointment: Contract (Maximum for 04 years)
Scale:  BPS-20
Local/Domicile: All Pakistan, preference will be given to local/domicile of Balochistan in case of tie
Qualification:
CA or ACCA with 7 years of experience in government/semi-government/autonomous organizations. OR
MBA Finance or M.Com or equivalent qualification from recognized University or institute by HEC with 15 years post-qualification experience in relevant field in BPS-17 and above in government / semi-government/autonomous organization.  .

Director Pakistan Study Center,
Upper Age limit: 55 Years
Nature of Appointment: Contract (Maximum for 04 years)
Scale:  BPS-20
Qualification:
Ph.D. degree in relevant field from a Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized university/institute.
In the 1st instance, those candidates will be considered who meet the HEC criteria for the post of Professor (BPS-21) and the candidate selected among them will be appointed as Director (BPS-21). In case no candidate is found eligible/suitable for appointment as Director (BPS-21), then those candidates will be considered who meet HEC criteria for the post of Associate Professor (BPS-20) and the candidate selected among them will be appointed as Director (BPS-20).
The post of Director would be in BPS-20/21. However, once appointed as Director, being the administrative post, the candidate may not be allowed to apply for TTS faculty.

Nature of Appointment: Contract (Maximum for 04 years)
Scale:  BPS-20
Qualification:
Ph.D. degree in relevant field from a Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized university/institute.
Ph.D. degree in International Relations, Political Science, History preferably in Arab and Middle East Countries from a HEC recognized university/institute.
In the 1st instance, those candidates will be considered who meet the HEC criteria for the post of Professor (BPS-21) and the candidate selected among them will be appointed as Director (BPS-21). In case no candidate is found eligible/suitable for appointment as Director (BPS-21), then those candidates will be considered who meet HEC criteria for the post of Associate Professor (BPS-20) and the candidate selected among them will be appointed as Director (BPS-20).

Requirements:

Complete application along with required documents can be submitted personally or by post in Room # 31 of Establishment Section. Last date for form submission is Friday, 25th April 2025.
The Application Processing fee Rs. 2500/- (NON-REFUNDABLE) in shape of Bank Challan/ or draft in favor of the Treasurer, University of Balochistan, must be deposited for each application.
Challan fee can be deposited in HBL, University Branch, Quetta.
CV, copies of Experience Certificates and Educational Documents (duly attested) must be attached with the application form.
Applicants already in service must apply through proper channel along with NOC issued by their parent departments by due date otherwise their applications will not be entertained.
Incomplete applications or received after due date, fulfilling the minimum criteria or without processing fee will not be entertained in any case. Selection Board for eligible candidates will be held in University of Balochistan and NO TA/DA is admissible.
