Applications are invited for the following position in Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication on contract basis

Technical Advisor (Strategy and Media)
 
Scale: MP-I

Age Limit: 

Maximum age 62 years on the closing date for receipt of applications as per MP Scale Policy of the Federal Government 2020.

Qualification: 

Ph.D in Information Technology/Public Administration/Public Policy/Policy Formulation/Strategic Management/Marketing / Mass Communication from HEC recognized local or international university of high ranking. 

OR 

MBA / Master’s Degree in Information Technology/Public Administration/Public Policy/Policy Formulation/Strategic Management/Marketing / Mass Communication from HEC recognized local or international university of high ranking.

Experience: 

Candidates with Ph.D are required to have seven (07) year experience in the relevant field Candidates with Master’s Degree are required to have eighteen (09) year experience in the relevant field The candidate’s professional credentials should include the following: 
i. Understanding of the national and international print, electronic and digital media laws, rules, regulations, policies and regulatory framework in the country. 
ii. Proven Track Record of Increased Engagement 
iii. Expertise in Platform-Specific Strategies, Digital Branding / Marketing 
iv. Ability to Develop Content Strategy for promotion of export of IT and telecom services 
v. Experience relating to the Paid Social Media Advertising and marketing 
vi. Excellent Writing and Editing Skills 
vii. Analytical and Reporting Capabilities 
viii. Familiarity with Social Media Monitoring Tools 
ix. Ability to Work in a Team Environment 
x. Strong Communication and Presentation Skills 
xi. Envisaging and formulating project proposals pertaining to the ICT Sector in collaboration with related international and/or regional organizations. DIGITAL NATION PAKISTAN 
xii. Understanding and relationship with the leading national and international media houses and digital platforms for publicity and projection of various policies and initiatives of the Ministry
