Research Fellow

Job Location: Islamabad Or Karachi
Qualification & Experience:
Ph.D. in Port Operations, Shipping Logistics, Maritime Law, Trade Management, Environmental Studies, Marine Science etc. including other social sciences disciplines to enhance expertise and contribute to the maritime sector.
MPhil/Master's degree holder (18 years of education), a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the maritime field or research is required.
Strong analytical & academic ability along with excellent writing/communications skills.
Exhibit a track record of successfully supervising and leading research projects/ teams, within a think tank/ university or similar organizations.
Research Associate

Job Location: Islamabad
Qualification & Experience:
MS/ M.Phil or equivalent in Maritime Affairs/Studies, Maritime (Ports & Shipping) Management, Strategic Studies, IR, Environmental Science, Maritime/ Blue Economy, Maritime Law or including other social sciences disciplines.
Min 2 years of research experience in academia/ think tank. Strong analytical & academic ability along with excellent writing/communications skills.
Candidates with national/ international publications will be preferred.
Research Assistants
No of Positions: 02
Job Location: Karachi
Qualification & Experience:
BS in Ports and Shipping. Maritime Trade and Logistics or any compatible Social Sciences discipline.
Fresh or 1 year experience of Research related projects. Strong analytical, academic, and writing skills, with the ability to conduct independent research.
Ability to work in a team and contribute to policy-oriented research projects.
Terms of Employment:
Candidates having degrees from HEC recognized National/ International Universities are eligible to apply. The positions at NIMA will be offered through an extendable contract (initially for 01 year) with suitable market level remuneration and benefits.
