Professor

Qualification & Experience:
Ph.D. in Architecture Design or Architecture from a University or institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission; Registered with Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners;
Twelve years' teaching or research experience from a university or institution recognized by Higher Education Commission or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization, or ten years post-Ph.D. teaching or research experience from a University or institution recognized by Higher Education Commission or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization;
Fifteen research Publications, with at least five publications in last five years, in the journals recognized by the Higher Education Commission or Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners recognized Journals; or recognition in at least four national or international architectural design competitions or design excellence awards.
OR
Master's degree (Foreign) in Architecture Design or Architecture or MPhil degree in Architecture Design or Architecture or equivalent qualification (eighteen years' education) from a university or institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and Registered with Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners;
Fifteen years' teaching or research experience from a university or institution recognized by Higher Education Commission or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization;
Fifteen research publications, with at least five publications in last five years, in the journals recognized by the Higher Education Commission or Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners recognized Journals; or recognition in at least five national or International architectural design competitions or design excellence awards.
Associate Professor
Scale: BPS-20

Age Limit: 30-50
Qualification & Experience:
Ph.D. in Architecture Design or Architecture from a University or institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission;
Registered with Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners;
Nine years teaching or research experience from a University or Institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission or Professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization; or Four years post-Ph.D. teaching or research experience from a university or institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization, and
ten research Publications (with at least four publications in last five years) in the journals recognized by the Higher Education Commission or Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners; or recognition in at least two national or international architectural design competitions or design excellence awards.
OR
Master's Degree (foreign) or MPhil in Architecture Design or Architecture or equivalent qualification awarded after eighteen years of education in Architecture Design from a University or institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission;
Registered with Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners;

Assistant Professor
Scale: BPS-19
Nature of Appointment: Contract
Age Limit: 25-45 (Relaxable)
Qualification & Experience:
Ph.D. in the Architecture Design or Architecture from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; registered with Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners.
OR
Master's degree (Foreign) or M.Phil. in Architecture Design or Architecture or equivalent qualification awarded after nineteen years of education in Architecture Design from a university or institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission; registered with Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners;
three years' teaching or research experience from a university or institution recognized by the higher education commission or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.
OR
First Professional degree (five years) (first division) in Architecture Design or Architecture from a university or institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission,
registered with Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners; and
five years' teaching or research experience from a university or institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission or Professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.
Lecturer
Scale: BPS-18
Nature of Appointment: Contract
Age Limit: 23-35 (Relaxable)
Qualification & Experience:
First Professional degree (five years) or Master's degree in Architecture Design or Architecture or equivalent qualification awarded after eighteen years education from a University recognized by the Higher Education Commission with no third division in the academic career, and
registered with Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners.

The applicants must submit Two (02) sets for the subject post/s which must contain UOG Application Form, attested copies of the Degrees & Both Sides of the Result Cards/Transcripts/Detail Marks Certificates (DMC) (Only verified Degrees/Transcripts from HEC/Boards, etc. shall be entertained), Experience Certificates (duly verified by the respective Employer/s (where experience needed) as per given "Employment Verification Proforma"), NOC (If needed), Domicile, CNIC and recent Passport size photographs with each application form complete in all respect. In case, less number of sets received from the applicant, his/her application shall be considered incomplete and liable to be rejected.
The applicants for the post of Professor, Associate Professor & Assistant Professor must submit/attach two (02) DVDs pertaining soft copies of all their credentials labeling folders like Academic Credentials, Experience Certificates, Publications and Publication Verification Proforma (PVP) (in MS-Word Format) appended with Job Application Form along with the application/dossiers.
Applicants working on Regular/Acting Charge/Officiating/Ad-hoc/Current Charge and Contract basis in Government, Semi-Government, and Autonomous Bodies (including UOG's Employees) must apply through proper channel and attach NOC (issued by Appointing Authority only) and Experience Certificate/s issued from their present and former Appointing Authority/Head of Institution/Organization, otherwise their application shall be considered incomplete and liable to be rejected.
All kind of claimed experience (where experience needed) of the applicants shall only be considered, if the applicant produced/attached documentary evidence duly verified/attested and signed stamped by the respective Appointment Authority only, as per given "Employment Verification Proforma", appended to Job Application Form.
Experience in Private Entities shall only be accepted if such entity is registered with SECP, Registrar of Firms or any other Regularity Authority.
The experience gained as on Daily basis, Part time, Visiting, Honorary and Apprentice shall not be considered/ counted.
The existing faculty working on tenure track system shall be dealt under Model Tenure Track Process Statutes. The applicant(s) having foreign degree must attach HEC/IBCC equivalence certificate (Issued & Attested by the HEC/IBCC) with the Application Form.
The applicants who have domestic/foreign degrees/diploma/certificates and claim equivalence of their qualification with the prescribed educational qualification/s in the relevant field of the post advertised, must attach a certificate/proof of such equivalence of degree/diploma/certificate issued by the competent authority e.g. Higher Education Commission/Pakistan Council for Architects and Town Planners (PCATP) /PEC/Inter Boards Chairman Committee etc. In case they fail to submit, their candidature shall be cancelled. Applications of the candidate(s) whose result is not officially announced by the Controller of Examinations of a Board/University on or before the closing date shall not be considered.
Shortlisting of the applicants shall be made in accordance with the procedure laid down by the University. The University shall inform only the candidates called for the test (if conducted), interview and the recommended candidates by the Selection Board through offer/appointment letters upon approval of the Appointing Authority.
Applicants applying for more than one post will submit a separate Application Form with necessary documents, complete in all respects.

The University is not responsible for delays in receiving job application forms from the applicants, call letters for interviews or offer/appointment letters etc. due to courier's lapses.
Incomplete applications (in any case) are liable to be rejected.

Fee:
It is mandatory for applicants to deposit the fee in any Branch of BOP (Non-refundable) of Rs. 1200/-(for BPS- 20 & above) and Rs. 1000/- (for BPS-18 & 19). The application form without processing fee shall not be considered/entertained.
