Deputy Assistant Director (Data Analytics, Visualization & GIS )
Age Limit: 30 years
Qualification:
Bachelors (4 Years) in Computer Science/ Geography/GIS or equivalent
Degrees must be recognized and attested by HEC
Experience:
Preferably 0-2 Years post-graduation experience in data analysis and visualization in a well reputed organization.
Certification related to GIS will be an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
Analyze collected data to identify trends, patterns, insights and generate reports.
Ensure data integrity, accuracy and consistency across all data sets.
Create and Manage map server (open source).
Publish and manage thematic maps over map server.
Integration of tabular information with open-source maps API.
Data presentation using different tools i.e., Tableau, Power BI
Technically sound in design, develop and maintain GIS applications and tools.
Proficient in ESRI TOOLS (Arc GIS, Arc MAP), Map Info, AutoCAD.
Strong programming still in languages i.e., Python, JavaScript, C# or others used in GIS development.
Must have knowledge of Remote Sensing and Network Analysis.
Must have experience of integration of map services like Google Map
Knowledge of database management systems (DBMS) i.e., Postgre, SQL, PostGIS, Oracle Spatial. • Data presentation using different tools i.e., Tableau, Power BI.
Ability to trouble shoot and resolve issues in GIS applications
Instructions:
1. Selected candidate will be hired initially for contract period of 5 years (extendable if required).
2. Management reserves the right to accept/reject any application without assigning any reason.
3. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview.
4. Candidate shall be disqualified if false information is provided.
5. Employees serving in Government/Semi-Government departments must provide/attach No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of submission of application.
6. 5 years' relaxation in age is already included in above age limit.
7. Selected candidate shall provide Medical Fitness and Character Certificates.
8. No TA/DA will be admissible.
9. Attested degrees from Higher Education Commission (HEC)/relevant regulatory bodies must be provided at the time of interview.
10. Females, Minority, Transgenders and Differently-abled candidates are encouraged to apply.
11. Electronic gadgets, mobile phones, smart watches etc. will not be allowed during test and interview.
