Reko Dig Mining Company, operated by Barrick and a joint venture with the Government of Balochistan and the Government of Pakistan, is recruiting a team of high caliber individuals for the development of its outstanding, world-class mining project-the Reko Diq copper-gold mine in Balochistan.
Scaffold Inspector
Department: Construction & Maintenance
Location: Reko Diq SITE-Balochistan
Qualification:
Minimum Scaffolding Inspector Diploma or Graduate with major in any discipline. Preferably International certifications like IRSM, UKQAM, OSHAC, and Working at Heights certification are preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience as Scaffold Inspector at field level, supervising of assembling and dismantling of scaffoldings OR Minimum 7 years of experience as scaffolder.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge and understanding of relevant regulations, standards, and codes of practice. They should possess excellent relationship-building, influencing, and negotiation skills. Strong organizational and planning abilities are required, along with basic computer skills
Responsibilities:
Ensure scaffolding on construction projects complies with standards, laws, and RDMC procedures. Inspect scaffolds for safety, structural integrity, and compliance, rejecting damaged or substandard materials. Advise on specialized scaffolds, calculate counterweights for heavy-duty suspended scaffolding, and guide safe work practices. Conduct daily inspections, final checks, and audits to ensure scaffold safety and contractor compliance.
Airport Officer
Department: Travel & Facilities
Location: Reko Diq Mine Site - Balochistan
Qualification:
Minimum graduation in any discipline is preferred, particularly in airport management, aviation, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in airport operations or a similar role.
Requirements:
Strong skills in stock management, administration, and planning, along with a solid understanding of aviation regulations and safety standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also required.
Responsibilities:
Oversee airport facilities, including terminal services, maintenance, and readiness Coordinate with departments such as supply chain, procurement, and aircraft operators to ensure stock availability and readiness. Plan and execute requisitions, conduct regular inspections of runways and facilities before fight arrival, and manage passenger flow through apron gates. Ensure aircraft schedules are coordinated and oversee the maintenance and repair of airport infrastructure. Monitor compliance with SOPs, safety, and security protocols
Airport Traffic Controller
Location: Reko Diq Mine Site - Balochistan
Qualification:
Minimum qualification in air traffic control training from a recognized institution.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years administration & supply chain planning experience.
Requirements:
Strong communication skills with the ability to give clear and concise instructions under pressure. Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities are essential for managing multiple aircraft and avoiding conflicts. Proficiency in radar, radio communication, and air traffic control systems is required, along with the ability to remain calm and focused in high-stress situations. A solid understanding of aviation regulations and safety protocols is also necessary
Responsibilities:
Direct and monitor aircraft movements, ensuring safe air traffic control, coordination with ground staff, and compliance with aviation safety protocols.
