Professor
Scale: BPS-21

Qualification:
a. PhD in the relevant field from a The applicant must have 15 HEC-recognized university/institution.
b.15 years of teaching/research experience in a HEC-recognized university or postgraduate institution, or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization;
OR
10 years post-PhD teaching/research experience in HEC-recognized university or postgraduate institution, or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization.
Publications:
The candidate have 15 research publications, with at least 5 publications in the last 5 years, in HEC-recognized journals.
Associate Professor
Scale: BPS-20
Department / Institute:
Pharmacy, Business Administration, Media & Communication Studies, Political Science
Qualification:
a. PhD in the relevant field from a The applicant must have 10 HEC-recognized university/institution
b. 10 years of teaching/research experience in HEC-recognized university or postgraduate institution, or professional experience in the relevant field in national or international organization;
OR
5 years post-PhD teaching/research experience in HEC-recognized university or postgraduate institution, or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization.
Publications:
The applicant must have 10 research publications, with at least 4 publications in the last 5 years, in HEC-recognized journals
Assistant Professor
Scale: BPS-19
Department / Institute:
Urdu, Pakistan Studies
Qualification:
PhD in the relevant field from HEC-recognized university/institution. No experience required.
Lecturer
Lecturer
Scale: BPS-18

Bio-Chemistry, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science / IT, Mathematics, Microbiology, Statistics, Physics, Zoology, Islamic Studies, Economics, English, International Relations, Media & Communication Studies, Political Science, Sindhi, Sociology & Gender Studies, Urdu, Business Administration, Commerce & Teacher Education
Qualification:
First Class MS/MPhil/ equivalent degree awarded after 18 Years of education in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution with no 3rd division in the academic career.
Condition of no 3rd division shall not be applicable in the qualification of appointment as lecturer in Universities or degree awarding institutions provided that the candidate holds a higher degree viz PhD or equivalent degree with not more than one 3rd division in entire academic career.
Terms and conditions
1. That faculty and other positions will be hired on contract basis. OR University will make appointments with contributory pension scheme.
Instructions:
1. For the above categories applicants already in service should apply through proper channel.
2. Candidate applying for the post of Professor and Associate Professor should submit 04 copies of their CVs along-with required research papers and other relevant documents showing details of work/teaching experience/research publications and academic qualification, in triplicate properly bounded.
3. Candidate applying for more than one post should submit separate application form(s) along-with separate Bank challan pay order.
4. The candidate having 45 years age shall be appointed in the University service by initial recruitment.
5. Only short listed candidates shall be called for test/interview and not eligible candidates will not be informed/called.
6. PhD degree must be got attested/verified from HEC on or before the closing date
7. The candidates applying for the post of Pharmacy Department must produce valid registration certificate from Pharmacy Council of Pakistan (PCP), Islamabad.
8. Number of vacancies can be increased or decreased.
9. In-complete forms will be rejected.
10. The University reserves the right of cancellation of advertised posts at any stage.
11. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing candidates in the test/interview.
