Senior Field Engineer - Planning Engineer

Job Location: Fields

Department: Engineering

Qualification: 

B.E / BSc Mechanical Engineering 

Experience: 

Minimum 8 years relevant experience in Oil & Gas, Fertilizer, Chemical or Petrochemical industry

Skills:

Candidate should have sound hands on experience & knowledge of fabrication of plant piping, repair of static equipment and crude oil storage tanks.

Good knowledge of API/ASME standards related to piping, vessels and storage tanks.

Should have experience of project estimation.

Strong knowledge of asset integrity of tanks, pipelines & vessels etc.

Maintenance experience of Centrifugal Pumps, Gas/Diesel Engines and Work shop equipment will be considered as an additional skill.

Should have sound knowledge and skills of inventory and maintenance management through EAM/CMMS.

Should have strong team building, self-motivation and supervisory skills.

Working experience of preparing budgets, assisting ISO internal audits and maintaining compliance to HSE and departmental procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Plan and implement preventive maintenance schedules for plant equipment, engines, compressors, and pipelines and facility maintenance.

Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure smooth execution of maintenance and repair activities at different facility & field.

Initiate and manage inventory based on project requirements and job schedules.

Maintain accurate records of material transactions, store movements, and transportation activities.

Execute all maintenance and repair activities in adherence to company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Ensure compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements and Permit to Work (PTW) systems.

Prepare and manage maintenance budgets for both capital and expenditures.

Evaluate budget performance, compare actual vs. forecasted expenses, and plan for the next fiscal year.

Design, plan, and execute major replacement, modification, and repair jobs in the field.

Monitor and ensure timely progress of ongoing projects and modifications.

Ensure the reliability and extended life of all field facilities, including accommodation, plants, and pipelines, through timely maintenance and repairs.

Manage material availability for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.

Perform cost estimation and project planning for major projects and modifications within the field.

Manage the mechanical aspects of township infrastructure, including sewage systems, waste management, and transportation networks (such as pumps and motors for water and sewage systems).

Ensure all mechanical infrastructure complies with local regulations and industry best practices.

Prepare and manage well-site facilities for new drilling, workover, and testing operations.

Oversee new pipeline installations, modifications, and fabrication, including sandblasting, welding and non-destructive testing (NDT) procedures.

Develop drawings for the erection of new pipelines within the field.

Prepare and submit daily, monthly, and major job reports, including KPI's monitoring.

Support audits and inspections by third-party auditors or inspectors, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards.

Coordinate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless execution of projects and maintenance work.

Assist planning teams in ordering parts, equipment, and supplies necessary for projects and operations.


In-charge Stores

Department: Materials / Stores

Qualification: MBA / BSc (Engineering)

Experience:  

Minimum 10 years of experience in the area of inventory control and management with reputed multinational companies.

Skills:

Proficient in tracking, organizing, and optimizing inventory levels.

Ability to coordinate with suppliers, logistics teams, and procurement department.

Experience in managing store operations, including stock handling, storage, and dispatching.

Knowledge of inventory management systems such as SAP, Oracle, or other ERP solutions.

Experience in supervising store staff, delegating tasks, and ensuring smooth operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Developing and maintenance of Stores SOP’s.

Follow up with different departments in respect of slow moving or obsolete inventory subsequently Write off approval and disposals

Inspection of materials as per quality and quantity control acceptance procedures in collaboration with user departments.

Ensure items storage according to the product physical state, toxicity, inflammability and other hazards.

Ensure items are easily identifiable, retrievable and to provide adequate storage.

Ensure material protection from deterioration, damage and pilferage.

Ensure security, access to premises and marking of stores.

Periodic stock checking of inventory with online system.

Entertaining duly authorized requisition from the user(s) department.

Allocation of inventory to specific project or department.

Dispatch of goods to outside organizations after management approval.

Processing for local & overseas requisition.

Processing of pending orders, transfers and corrections.

Preparation of daily stock level consumable reports.

Monitor daily not available items statements.

Ensure budget is aligning with the corporate goals.

Initiate Disposal of Junk items lying at all fields stores


Planning Engineer

Department: Administration

Qualification:  B.E / BSc Mechanical Engineering 

Experience: 

Minimum 8 years relevant experience in Oil & Gas, Fertilizer, Chemical or Petrochemical industry

Skills:

Working experience as maintenance planner on maintenance management module EAM (CMMS module developed by Oracle).

Working experience of preparing / monitoring and generation of maintenance performance reports.

Sound knowledge and working skill in preparing data sheets, specifications, fabrication drawings, welding procedure and WPQ review, engineering work packages, inspection and test plans.

Good knowledge of engineering software’s i.e. Auto Cad, MS Project, Microsoft Office Suite and Primavera

Sound knowledge of oil and gas related equipment and working experience of gas/diesel engines, gas compression units and pumps maintenance.

Working experience related to procurement of technical equipment

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible to maintain life cycle of work orders in EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) from creation to closure of work orders.

Responsible to create and develop preventive maintenance plan in EAM and monitor adherence to plan.

Asset creation/ modification and upgradation in EAM

Responsible to evaluate technical drawings (Fabrication/shop drawings) issued for construction of mechanical equipment.

Responsible to evaluate technical bids till finalization of orders.

Responsible to generate data sheets, specifications, fabrication drawings, engineering work packages, inspection and test plans.

Tender preparation

Responsible to generate reports for management in order to condition monitoring of equipment and performance efficiency and achieve key performance indicators for the department.

Ensure effective implementation and utilization of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), including data entry, updating equipment history, and issuing reports as needed.

Monitor maintenance performance through Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and manage maintenance and reliability KPIs, including report development and issuance.

Develop, monitor, and manage maintenance plans and critical project plans in collaboration with maintenance engineers.

Liaise with Operations personnel to establish work priorities and coordinate with Inspection personnel to obtain necessary repair lists and procedures for job preparation.

Review and participate in the preparation of routine, preventive, and predictive maintenance schedules for daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly requirements, following manufacturer recommendations.

Plan and coordinate planned/unplanned shutdowns and overhauls, including work scope preparation, backlog management, duration estimation, and manpower/resource allocation.

Participate in site initiatives related to HR, HSE, CSR, quality, training, and maintenance frameworks.

Prepare and coordinate the annual maintenance budget with all maintenance engineers.

Procure necessary maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Work with vendors, contractors, and allied industry through synergy contracts to ensure effective maintenance operations.

Participate in the development and implementation of maintenance policies, procedures, and best practices.
