Director General (Information Technology)

No of Positions: 01

Scale: BPS-20

Age Limit: 50 Years max

Type of Employment: 01 year contract (Extendable)

Qualification:

PhD in Computer Science/ IT/ Software Engineering or equivalent in a related field 

Experience:

10-years or more experience at a Senior level n if industry/Govt organization

OR

Post-Graduation (18 years education in Computer Science/IT/Software Engineering or equivalent in a related field

OR

15-years or more experience at a Senior level n if industry/Govt organization 


Expertise:

Capability to develop a long term vision and strategy for IT-driven governance reforms. Strong background in ERP implementation Data Centers and IT governance

Understanding of emerging technologies such as Cloud Computing lot. Artificial Intelligence, Block Chain/Distributed ledger

Ability to modemize large scale business operations, Business Process Re-engineering and Cyber Security frameworks

Tenure:

The appointment shall initially be for a period of one year on contract basis extendable subject to satisfactory performance requirement of the organization without any consideration for regularization at any stage.
