Applications are invited from Pakistani nationals for the following posts, purely on contract basis in the government's approved PSDP project titled "Establishment of China-Pakistan Joint Research Centre (CPJRC) on Earth Sciences" being executed by Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad.
Director (Civil works)
No of Positions: 01
Scale: PPS-9
Age Limit: 55 years
Pay Package: 306,250-15,315
Qualification:
Master degree in Civil Engineering (18 years) from HEC/PEC recognized University/College
or institute.
OR
Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering (16 years) from HEC/PEC recognized University/College or institute.
Experience:
Minimum 06-years of experience (in case of Master degree) or minimum 08-years of experience (in case of Bachelor degree) of monitoring and supervision of construction projects in any public sector University/Govt Organization/Semi Government or autonomous body.
Proficiency in Contract Management (e.g., FIDIC, PEC, PPRA rules) and handling legal/regulatory requirements shall be preferred.
Accountant

Qualification:
At least 2nd Division in BBA/M.Com/MBA (Finance and Accounting) and other related degree in Finance and Accounting from HEC recognized University/Institute.
Experience:
At least 04-years relevant experience, preferably in dealing with project accounts.
Computer Operator

Age Limit: 40 years
Pay Package: 105,000-5,250
Qualification:
BS in Computer Science/IT (16- years) or Intermediate in Computer Science/IT (12- years) with Diploma in Computer Science/IT from HEC recognized University.
Experience:
At least 02-years relevant experience for 16-years education and 04-years experience for 12-years education, preferably in PSDP projects.
Quantity Surveyor

Pay Package: 105,000-5,250
Qualification:
B. Tech (Civil Technology) with at least 04-years of experience in Quantity Surveying.
OR
DAE Civil with 06-years of Quantity Surveying (Preferably in public sector projects).
Sub Engineer

Scale: PPS-5
Age Limit: 35 years
Pay Package: 70,000-3,500
Qualification:
B. Tech Civil Technology (at least 2nd Division) with at least 02-years of experience.
OR
DAE Civil (at least 2nd Division) with at least 04-years relevant experience in projects related to Building construction and Civil Works. Prefer- ence will be given to the candidates having experience of supervision and preparation of detailed cost estimates of developmental projects at any Govt Organization/Semi Government or autonomous body.
Assistant

Candidates already in government service should apply through proper channel.
Degree/Certificates must be obtained from HEC/Government recognized institutions.
The vacancies will be filled initially for one year and upon successful review, likely to be continued till the completion of the project.

No TA/DA will be paid for test/interview.
