Reko Dig Mining Company, operated by Barrick and a joint venture with the Government of Balochistan and the Government of Pakistan, is recruiting a team of high caliber individuals for the development of its outstanding, world-class mining project-the Reko Diq copper-gold mine in Balochistan.
Environmental Officer - Biodiversity
Location: Reko Diq Mine Site - Balochistan
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Ecology, Wildlife Biology, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in biodiversity or ecological roles, ideally within the mining. infrastructure, or construction sectors
Requirements:
Experienced in flora and fauna trapping, handling, and relocation. Knowledgeable in local species, ecosystems, and environmental regulations. Skilled in field surveys (pitfall traps, camera traps, transects) and basic GIS. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in remote environments.
Responsibilities:
Lead the implementation of Barrick's Sustainability Policy and ensure ESMP compliance. Oversee environmental studies, budgets, and biodiversity management plans. Coordinate flora and fauna relocation and conduct ecological field surveys. Maintain biodiversity records and ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Collaborate with the site team, provide training, and liaise with stakeholders. Support audits and implement adaptive management practices based on monitoring data.
Airport Assistant
Location: Reko Diq Mine Site - Balochistan
Qualification:
High School/Matriculation or equivalent. Additional coursework or certification in airport-related fields is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in airport operations is preferred, especially in ground handling. refueling, or related support functions. Experience in operating mechanical or electrical airport equipment is also beneficial.
Requirements:
Additional coursework or certification in airport-related fields is a plus. Knowledge of airport operations and regulations is preferred. Familiarity with electrical and mechanical equipment is an advantage. Prior airport experience is preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and willingness to work in remote locations with flexible shifts
Responsibilities:
Provide assistance to passengers with check-in, boarding, and baggage handling. Support aircraft ground handling operations, including refueling and emergency response. Assist with the installation of portable runway lighting and navigational aids. Help passengers with special needs, including wheelchair assistance. Communicate with airline staff, ground services, and camp personnel for efficient operations. Ensure proper baggage handling, labeling, and routing. Adhere to safety regulations, assist with maintenance work, and maintain airport cleanliness. Report repair needs and perform any other tasks assigned by the Line Manager.
Contractor Compliance Officer
Location: Reko Diq Mine Site - Balochistan
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in law, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Accounting, or a related field (preferred).
Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in contractor compliance, risk management, procurement, or related roles, preferably within the mining or construction industries.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of local laws and industry best practices in contractor compliance. Excellent auditing. communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze data and prepare reports. Proficient in Damstra, SAP Ariba, compliance tools, and Microsoft Office. Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities. Fluent in English; Urdu or Baloch proficiency is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure contractor compliance. Monitor adherence to compliance standards and report findings. Collaborate with departments to integrate compliance across the contract lifecycle. Assist in preparing compliance reports. Coordinate contractor training and awareness. Identify non-compliance issues and track corrective actions. Support investigations and follow-up on non- conformance. Maintain contractor certification and compliance records. Contribute to improving compliance systems and processes.
Contractor Compliance Lead
Location: Reko Diq Mine Site - Balochistan
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in law, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum 8-11 years' experience in contractor compliance, risk management, procurement, or related roles, preferably within the mining or construction industries; Strong knowledge of local laws, regulations, and industry best practices regarding contractor compliance and management
Requirements
Strong understanding of contractor management systems and compliance frameworks. Proficient in Damstra onboarding, SAP Ariba, compliance tools, and Microsoft Office. Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem- solving abilities. Skilled in audit methodologies. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects. Fluent in English; proficiency in Urdu or Baloch is a plus.

Develop and monitor contractor compliance programs aligned with company policies and legal requirements. Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with policies, contractual terms, and legal standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance across the contract lifecycle. Provide training and guidance on company policies and legal requirements. Manage compliance records and report findings to management. Investigate non-conformance incidents and ensure corrective actions. Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors during inspections. Drive initiatives to improve contractor compliance and risk management.
