Chief Engineer (Power), Energy Department, Government of the Punjab invites applications from suitable and enthusiastic candidates, domiciled in Punjab, to fill up the following SNE posts (on temporary basis) for a period of approximately three years. The requisite qualification and other conditions are given as under:
Junior Computer Operator
Higher Secondary School Certificate from a recognized Board; year in Punjab.
and
(b) Knowledge of M.S. Office; or
Intermediate in Computer Science (second division) from a recognized Board; and
speed of forty words per minute of typing in English on Computer.
Junior Clerk
Higher Secondary School Certificate 18-25 Anywhere (second division) from a recognized Board year in Punjab. with a speed 25 words per minute in typing in English.
Note: Preference may be given to a candidate who also knows Urdu typing at a speed of 25 words per minute.
Instructions:

2. Five (05) years relaxation in upper age limit is admissible against above said posts for males and eight (08) years for females.
3. Candidates already working in Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous Bodies may apply through proper channel.
4. The recruitment will be made strictly on merit from all Punjab basis in accordance with the Rules, selection criteria and other provisions of Recruitments and Contract Appointment Policy-2004 of S&GAD amended from time to time.
5. Only short listed candidates will be called for the typing test and interview.
6. These appointments will be made purely on contract basis for a period of approximately 03
years.
7. The competent authority reserves the right to increase/reduce the No. of posts.
8. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for the typing test and interview.
9. 15% quota for females, 3% for disables and 5% for minorities is reserved.
10. Transgender are encouraged to apply.
11. The last date for submission of applications is 12.06.2025 up to 05:00 PM.
